Life Drawing
Artists of all levels are invited to draw! This is a 2-hour uninstructed figure-drawing session offered to artists of all levels, from beginners to seasoned pros. The session is moderated by Living Room – NYC Director, Perri Neri who is happy to assist any beginning artist Think of her as your life drawing spirit guide. Artists work at their own pace in a social, relaxed, and inclusive environment.
This is a 21+ event. There will be wine and light refreshments will be served, and of course, there will be music! We have some basic drawing materials available and are happy to share them. At the end of the evening, everyone leaves with a collection of their new work!
Drawing Fee is $30.

Meet Our Model
We are very happy to introduce our model for this session, choreographers and dancer, Esteban Arana, a founder of Nu-Lu dance company.
Nu-Lu means New Light and explores dance as a prism for life and as a journey. A multicultural and multidisciplinary company, it aspires to provoke self-reflection that touches one’s soul. Founded in 2012 by experienced dancers and choreographers Esteban Arana and Leticia Pliego, Nu-Lu has appeared at Dance Series at BAAD, Brooklyn Ballet, Dixon Place, Queens Museum, Spring Series collaborating with AGDT and Summer Stage Central Park, experimental art venues in NYC.
Esteban Arana has been one of the premier dancers and choreographers of Mexico City in the last ten years. Now based in New York, Esteban has developed his own distinctive fusion of jazz and contemporary dance. He has performed all over the United States and has worked as a guest artist with Donna Summer and legendary choreographers like Maurice Hines, Chet Walker, Robert Battle, and Arthur Aviles. Awards include a Gus Giordano Scholarship among others.
