Dance Draw is a 2-hour uninstructed figure-drawing session offered to artists of all levels, from beginners to seasoned pros.

Our professional figure-drawing models are also professional dancers providing long and short poses in a relaxed, fun, and musical atmosphere. Artists work at their own pace in a social and inclusive environment. All levels of drawing experience are welcome!

There will be refreshments to enjoy and of course, there will be music! We have paper and basic drawing materials, but artists are encouraged to bring their drawing supplies.  At the end of the evening, everyone leaves with a collection of their new work and maybe a new dance step or two!

Dance Draw features choreographers and dancers, Esteban Arana and Leticia Pliego, founders of Nu-Lu Dance Company, and their special guest Genoveva Hernandez. This is a unique opportunity to draw dancers who are also professional life-drawing models. Artists will have options to draw static dance poses and at the same time challenge themselves to draw the fluidity of a dancing figure.

After the drawing session, Esteban and Leticia will perform new choreography for everyone.

$25 fee, pay at the door, cash or Venmo.

Wine and light refreshments will be served.
