Ryan James Monroe

Ryan James Monroe is a New York City based singer and creative producer. He has been seen on stages around the world at iconic venues including Carnegie Hall, The Duplex, The Bitter End, freeFall Theatre, Café del Duomo, REX Firenze, to name a few. Ryan recently collaborated with composer Thomas Hodges on their recently released album Time Travelers, selling out two shows at Joe’s Pub. Additionally, he has worked administratively at The Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, The Public Theater, 59E59 Theaters, and Ars Nova. Ryan is originally from St. Petersburg, Florida, he is the son to Karin and Jimmy Monroe, and big brother to his favorite person in the world, Megan Monroe. Ryan holds a BFA in Music Theatre and a BA in Arts Administration both from Elon University.
